Vintage Yao Ceremonial Girl’s Hat TTL34

$295.00

This adorable hat was lovingly made by a Mien (also referred to as Yao) hill tribe mother for her little girl to wear during ceremonies. The Mien most likely originated in Southern China some 2,000 years ago and can now be found living in small mountain villages throughout Southeast Asia. The originally bright colors have faded and there is a small tear in the top on the red silk but otherwise the hat is in very good condition.
