Cambodian Lacquerware Container BLW44


Unlike its neighboring countries, antique lacquerware is seldom seen in Cambodia. This container was made from woven bamboo and jackfruit wood that has been applied with several layers of lacquer. It has been decorated with a simple scrolling design.
