Decorated Thai Lanna Ceramic Vase EUO46

This antique Lanna ceramic vase is beautifully decorated with a traditional flowering vine motif and four peacocks. From Northern Thailand, this is a striking example of antique La Na Thai pottery. There are some external cracks at the outer surface of the vase, but these do not extend through to the inside of the vessel and it remains structurally intact. The photos show these cosmetic cracks in detail. The walls of the pot are very thick and there are no cracks that are visible on the inside of the pot. No repairs have been made.
