19thC Gilded Buddhist Temple Wood Carving Panel EUO133

$0.00

Over a century old, this rare antique Buddhist temple panel was sculpted from teak wood, gilded in 24K gold leaf, and decorated with stained glass ‘jewels’. The panel most likely once adorned an abbot’s chair located inside the bot (most sacred part of the wat or temple). It has been mounted on a stand for display. The piece is structurally intact and without repairs.
