18thC Bronze Hill Tribe Bangle EUO02

This antique bronze tribal bangle was made by the Nge and is decorated with a well worn S like pattern that follows the curved edges. It contains metal balls that rattle when worn on the wrist during ceremonial dances. It is mounted on a custom built stand for display.

The Nge are a small, little known hill tribe ethnic minority, who for generations have lived in the dense and rugged jungle of the Attapeu region, Laos.
