Antique Bronze Buffalo Bell Burma EBB38

From the 19th century, this buffalo or cattle bell is from Mandalay, Burma and is known as hka-lauk. Cast in bronze, it is decorated with an intricate and well executed scrolling design on both sides. The bell has a particularly attractive, silvery patina and is hung from a custom built stand.
