Burmese Antique Bronze Pastoral Bell EBB96

From Mandalay, Burma, this well-worn antique pastoral bell would have hung from the neck of a domestic farm animal. The bronze has an attractive, smooth patina and what appears to be the original clapper, which provides a very sweet ring tone. The loop through which the rope or leather passed is exceptionally worn. The bell is hung from a quality custom built stand.
