This exceptional marble Buddha sculpture is in the posture referred to as the Dhyana Mudra, the posture of meditation with the right hand placed over the left and the tips of the thumbs touching. This is a substantial work of Buddhist art and projects a powerful, peaceful presence. Weighing 65 kilograms or 143 pounds, the sculpture would be shipped by sea in a cubic meter container.
