This antique silver hairpin from Laos was made by the Hmong, a hill tribe people known for their love of silver and in the past, the cultivation of opium poppies in their mountain home. Laos, along with Burma and Thailand made up the infamous Golden Triangle. It is elegantly fashioned from solid high content silver and is in excellent condition.
