Solid silver bracelets made by the Hmong in this expandable style were popular with the Wa and Lawa minority hill tribe groups of Southeast Asia. It is made from solid cast high grade silver with a bound split coil, the contours of which have been smoothed over from wear.

This bracelet has a few minor scratches and indentations consistent with regular use over a long period of time. It is quite heavy in the hand.
