Antique Hill Tribe Silver Bracelet ETJ166

The style of this antique tribal silver bracelet indicates that it was most likely made by a Hmong silversmith and could have been worn by the Lahu, Akha and Lisu of Southeast Asia’s hill tribe peoples. It is made from solid high grade silver and is decorated with a traditional floral incised motif.

Genuine antique tribal silver jewelry from Laos, Thailand, and Vietnam is hard to come by nowadays. Recently crafted hill tribe jewelry is often made from aluminum or inferior alloys and lacks the charm of older pieces. Side by side, new and old pieces can be easily distinguished from each other.
